First and foremost, they are - according to Klaus Wallendorf - a "service-concert" group. But from time to time the eight horn players perform their own program. In their repertoire they have arrangements of symphonic works, but also original compositions for their instrumentation, for example by Brett Dean and Arturo Pantaleón. In addition to the Philharmonie, they have so far performed at the Alte Oper in Frankfurt and, most notably, in Japan.
