Jobs

We are looking for a Brass Instrument Maker (m/f/d) to join our Final Assembly/Finishing Department at the earliest possible start date.

The history of Gebr. Alexander began with its founding in 1782. Since then, the company has been run as a family business, now in its 7th generation. A team of approximately 50 employees works daily on perfecting the sound, playability, and artisanal excellence of selected brass instruments. In line with our slogan "Built in Mainz – played all over the world," our instruments are played in the most prestigious orchestras worldwide, as well as in renowned music academies, schools, and by many enthusiastic artists.

Your Responsibilities:
- Grinding and polishing of semi-finished parts and brass instruments by hand and using machinery
- Independent quality control of your work
- Future prospects: After successful initial training, your role will expand to include the lacquering of brass instruments and spare parts, including all pre- and post-processing steps

Your Strengths:
- Strong visual acuity (excellent eyesight for detail)
- Diligent and independent work ethic
- Physical resilience and stamina

We offer an exciting and varied full-time position within our friendly, family-oriented traditional company in Mainz. You can expect performance-based compensation and a wide range of additional benefits.

Do you want to unleash your potential with us? We look forward to meeting you! Please send your application in PDF format via email , stating your earliest possible start date and your salary expectations (gross annual salary).
